BOBCAYGEON SENIORS CENTRE
Our club has been active since 1968 and since 1995 has been in our own building at 100 Head Street, Bobcaygeon.
The club started as a group of people who gathered at the Legion to play cards. As their numbers grew they looked for a place of thier own and rented and renovated the old Post Office building. The membership kept growing, reaching 350, so it became evident that the facilities at the Old Post Office were too small.

A fund raising program was started and many differnt plans were investigated and pursued. It ended up with the purchase of a home on 100 Head Street. So by November 1995 the club had a new location. However, it took a lot of work and renovations to change a home into a social centre for the club. After months of work, on June 2nd, 1996 the official opening of 100 Head Street took place.

Over the years there were many additions and improvements made to the facility, that we are now proud to have as the home of the Bobcaygeon Senior Citizens Centre.
